How much does a website cost at Papaya?
Simple one-page sites start at $950. Business websites of up to 10 pages run $3,000–$5,000, content-rich or multi-location sites of 10–30 pages $6,000–$10,000, custom or online-store builds start at $5,000, and complex platforms with portals, payments and integrations run $30,000–$50,000+. Care is $79 a month. Prices are in CAD plus HST; you get one fixed written quote.
What if we don't have good photos or video?
We shoot them. If your existing content isn't usable, our team comes on site with our own camera, drone and lighting equipment and captures photos, video and aerials for the site. Shoots are quoted per scope as part of your build.
Who owns the website?
You do. The domain is registered in your name, the files are yours, and the site can live on your own Cloudflare account. There is no platform you are locked into.
Do you build on WordPress, Squarespace or Webflow?
We hand-build most sites, which keeps them fast and means there is no monthly platform fee or plugin stack to maintain. Where a client needs to publish often, we will use a platform and say so upfront.
Can I edit the site myself afterwards?
Yes. Every build ends with a walkthrough covering the things owners actually change — hours, prices, photos and text. Or put it on a care plan and send us the change.
